I live in Georgia now. As I travel around the state I think about the rich visual and literary history the covers everything like kudzu. In many ways Faulkner's famous quote about the South, "The past is never dead. It's not even past," still rings true. I've been told that people never say their family came to the South from Germany, or Poland or wherever, they say, "My family has been here for 5, 8, 10 generations." But that's changing and changing fast.
This gallery is my sketch book about my new state. It will solidify into a cohesive idea but for the first time I'm letting you come along for the ride.
