Representation Without Taxation
Washington D.C. is a circus of contrasts. Tourists come to see monuments and artifacts that function as time machines to American history. Activists gather in front of the same memorials to remind us to think of the future. Those who live and work in what Dickens called the "City of Magnificent Intentions" try to ignore the tourist and activist and just get on with daily life. This is my take on the D.C. three ring circus.
